Hello, and welcome to Communication Vidya! I am Shantanu Sahai, the creator of this program. Over the past 11 years, my journey in the world of communication has taken me through various industries and experiences, from the Merchant Navy to the world of radio and communication coaching. I am thrilled to share the insights I’ve gained through this course, designed to help students understand and master the essential skills of communication.
As a former Merchant Navy cadet, discipline and clarity in communication were key lessons I learned early in my training days. Following my time in the Merchant Navy, I transitioned into the exciting world of radio, spending 6 years as a prime-time Radio Jockey at 89.6 FM Sikar. During this time, I interacted with hundreds of listeners daily and had the opportunity to interview a diverse range of individuals, including bureaucrats, bollywood celebrities, doctors, educationalists and other professionals. These experiences helped me understand the power of effective communication in building connections and conveying meaningful messages.
Before becoming an RJ, I worked as a Communication Coach for 5 years at various international communication centers, including well-known organizations like WIPRO and HCL. I trained and communicated with clients from countries such as the US, UK, and Australia, which gave me a deep understanding of the cultural nuances and importance of communication in the global arena.
This course, Communication Vidya, is the culmination of all these experiences. It reflects my belief that communication is more than just speaking—it's about listening, understanding, and connecting with others. Through the comprehensive program and this course, I hope to provide students with the knowledge and confidence they need to excel in their personal and professional lives.
